Golden Apple Award

At the May Board of Education meeting, our school psychologist, Jamie Koehler, was presented with a Golden Apple Award by Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Laudermilt and Elementary Principal Mrs. Galloway.

I am honored to nominate Jamie Koehler, our school psychologist, for the Golden Apple Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to our district.

Although she has been with us for only a year, Jamie has quickly established herself as an invaluable member of our team. She is punctual, professional, and thorough in her work, ensuring that every evaluation is conducted with accuracy and care. She builds strong relationships with parents and is not afraid to have the difficult yet necessary conversations that often come with the special education referral process.

At meetings, Jamie is poised, positive, and highly effective, presenting her findings with clear evidence and data to support student success. She has also played a pivotal role in the IAT process at the elementary level, demonstrating a deep commitment to helping students receive the support they need.

Her dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit make her truly deserving of this recognition. I highly recommend Jamie Koehler for the Golden Apple Award and appreciate your consideration of her for this honor.
