Thank You Veterans

Veterans Day Program Returns to St. Clairsville With Breakfast, Assembly, and More

Students across all of our schools worked hard in the weeks leading up to Veterans Day to make sure our local heroes felt appreciated and recognized. Our Middle School Student Council members packed more than 200 gift bags with handwritten thank you cards, a baked good, and a piece of fruit. The gift bags were given to veterans throughout the community as well as to those in attendance at our breakfast and assembly on November 10.

We were proud to have more than 50 veterans join us at our assembly, where they heard musical performances from our Elementary School Music Makers and seventh grade band, speeches, and viewed an interpretive dance featuring a young Abraham Lincoln.

Additionally, our high school band traveled to Medina for the state competition on Veterans Day, but before they went, they provided breakfast to our veterans, many of whom regularly support our school system through their time, talent, and treasures.

On behalf of our school community, thank you to our veterans for all that you’ve done and continue to do to protect and support our country.
