Sometimes our irrational thoughts about awful outcomes or needs for perfection may keep us from trying new activities. As we can tell ourselves rational statements—of our possible failures as we get better at new activities—those might help free us up simply to do our best. This week's Teen Tip video is called “Go Out There and Fail!”. https://youtu.be/MeODeaDcbMo

That's a wrap on the 2020 Virtual Commencement! While this was not how anyone pictured graduation taking place, it was a great two days honoring our Seniors as their high school careers come to an end and they embark on their new journeys. We'd like to send a HUGE thank you to Lakin Weaver, Wayne Berk, Courtney Rodak, Christina Sirbaugh, Justin Schwertfeger and Becca Schwertfeger for generously spending the past two days with us in order to make this production happen. We'll see you on June 5 for our Live Broadcast!

In the words of Governor Mike DeWine, “We are in this together." With this in mind, social distancing does not mean looking the other way and ignoring the needs of others. St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools encourages individuals to contact us if you are aware of families in need of food, shelter, or services so that we can coordinate assistance. Please call 740-695-1624 and leave a detailed message so follow-up can be provided. Let’s stay together! #TogetherSTC

Parents of students who receive services from Kendall Behavioral Solutions LLC, please see the following information: With the Governor’s announcement that schools are closed for the next 3 weeks, we are making every effort to make sure your child continues to receive not only their education, but also other services that are vital to their progress. We have made arrangements with our contracted behavioral company, Kendall Behavioral Solutions LLC (KBS), to continue to provide your child with the Applied Behavior Analysis services they have been given at school. KBS will be sending out programming for your child to work on with you at home. They will also be checking in via phone regarding your child’s behavior and to offer any advice to support you in this time. Our contracted behavior analyst will be contacting you via email to send programs and set up time to have a phone conversation. Please, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
