FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES

The North Wheeling Community Dream Center is hosting the Adopt-a-Student program on Saturday, August 11th. Free school supplies will be available to students on a first-come, first-serve basis. The free event will take place at the Dream Center located at 407 Main Street in Wheeling.
 
On Sunday, August 12th, a Back-to-School Festival will be held at Wheeling Park from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The festival will include a concert, carnival rides, games and food.

SAVE THE DATE - CLASS OF 1978

The St. Clairsville High School Class of 1978 will celebrate their 40th reunion at the Feisley Tree Farm on Saturday, September 29th at 5:30 p.m. Dress is casual. The farm is located at 66565 Mueller Road, Belmont, OH 43718.
 
Also, all are invited to an informal gathering at Undo's in St. Clairsville on Friday, September 28th. Food and beverages will be available to purchase.

5th GRADE ORIENTATION FOR 2018-2019

 The 2018-2019 Fifth Grade Orientation is planned for Friday, August 17, 2018 in the High School Media Center. The orientation will give incoming 5th grade students and their parents/guardians the opportunity to meet the teachers and become familiar with the middle school setting.
 
Two orientation group sessions will be available: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Each session is limited to 10 students from each homeroom and their parents/guardians. In each session, the Principal,  Mr. Mike McKeever, and 5th grade teachers will be reviewing school policies, procedures and many other topics pertinent to the transition to the middle school. Students may bring their school supplies with them that day.
 
Informational letters are being mailed and should be received by June 22, 2018. Once received, please complete the included form and return in the provided self-addressed stamped envelope by August 1, 2018. Confirmation by phone or email of your orientation session time will then be made by your respective homeroom teacher by Friday, August 10, 2018. If you have questions prior to the orientation, you may contact Mrs. Kim Evick, 5th grade teacher at kim.evick@stcschools.com or the St. Clairsville Middle School office at 740-695-1591.

AMERICAN LEGION DONATES TO STAYING CLEAN CLUB


The St.Clairsville American Legion Post 159 recently donated $750.00 to the St. Clairsville Schools "Staying Clean Club". The donation will be used to feed the students as a reward for staying drug free. St. Clairsville Schools have 424 students (over 52%) in grades 7-12 who have joined the club this year.
